Hallo,

I am looking for NEC MCUs that are used in MB smart key PCBs. The MCU is NEC 567897051(061) Integrated Circuit (http://www.makepolo.com/products/NEC-567897051(061)-Integrated-Circuit-p37410917.html) or anything of that family 071 081. My question is where can i find, with intend to purchase, any good stock of these MCUs (on reasonable prices ofcourse :).

Thank you !
Best regards.

Those chips are not for MB keys mate!
Just search for used key and renew it , its better than chinese keys or chinese nec that only writable once....

Regards!

use part number printed on nec & google n try rs, digi-key, farnell. trouble is its not a universal part.

def recall seeing 1 time chip available - maybe only option.

If i remember correctly those chinese necs for keys are uPD78F9234, and they're for their own chinese key pcbs. It's not going to work on genuine mercededs pcb.

Anyway, why do you need those spare NECs? So far I was not able to read/erase/rewrite a NEC only once, and the person who gave me that key NEC admitted to have heated up too much.

it is for the same reason actually to have spare when reading or writing goes wrong i need to have spares it is embarasing when client comes with a problem and the solution is to read write but you can do only one try it is better to have spares :D
and since i am familiar with chinese junk i wanted to know where you profesionals get genuine ones if any on the market

Thank you for your responses it is more that i have expected :)
