As the title says I share with you my method of updating Ktag 5.001 to 6.070
Password will by asked only by PM and I will send only after Thank's button is pressed and please rate thread also. Thank you


Solution worked 100% for me. You have 30 tokens, who runs out of tokens please ask me for token resseter link.
Test you NXP processor in ktag by do a read, if you can't read it some say you can lock it and then you will have to buy a newone.
For your safety read and save all nxp data and sd card before proceeding.
Don't forget to REWORK your pcb if you have't done it allready.

why you need to unlock?...youhave another firmware to reflash? superior firmware wersion? why you don"t use tokens reset?(or something similar)

there is not any visible content of sdcard from 6.070...all content is sistem file format invisible...your sdcard,if try to read,will tell thatneed to be formated
i use rawcopy to write sdcard with .bin file content sistem files from 5.001,and after that i remade the update
if your tool said that need to conect on iternet for update,change anly the sdcard wit anotherone new sdcard 2Gb,and only start again update

make a photo good resolution of your PCB and post here...we will try to find solution

i had same problem it was sd card files corrupted after connexion with trasdata so repair possible.

You won't find the 6.070 dump here, I have it but I paid for it to be extracted from the mcu, you can update to 6.070 the usual way with update files and cfg

Maybe you must follow complete update procedure and not only step 1.

surelly,after reflash nxp with new firmware,and not doing the update of sw with the update folder full with families (the 2.08 version need to be used for update),the fw rest the old one...:)...so,like morgano said...do a complete update
