I have car MINI R56 ONE D / 1.6 from 2010, what was done somewhere else for km-change.

Right after this "programming", the engine goes in limp mode (max 3000 rpm)

The DASH was done by 35080, the CAS module by OBDII.

I read "unkown DTC P4049" (with autocom, as also with AVDI)

After erase DTC, the engine goes back normal, no limp mode UNTIL you shut off the engine, wait for 1 minute and start again.

Then you will have again same problem ; limp mode (max 3000 rpm) until you erase DTC.

Very very strange...

Someone encountered this problem before ? Solution or advices ?

Thx

i think that the CAS data is corrupt.

What error is p4049 ? Maybe just bad luck and some sensor died.
