Carprog or smok by obd or remove immo and read MCU

i must just be lucky , ive not had a single failure reading pin with Avdi on astra G and zafiera A models and ive done loads of these with avdi across the engine types. id contact kap or abrites support and send them log files in case your software is corrupted so they can send you new software link as avdi is very reliable on these in my experience .

Id agree, it should do it. AVDI orig does it 100% so if your fvdi doesnt its an issue in the clone. Are you talking about fvdi or avdi?

i thought he was talking about Avdi from his post which is why i suggested having software checked via support as normally totally reliable on these , but now ive seen thread title it could be FVDI which ive no experience of , maybe not managed to clone this function . if fvdi and its not playing id manually remove chip to read pin as these old astra g can get tempremental if pin reading with kit it doesnt like , some engine types easier than others .

AVDI works perfect, your FVDI will not work perfect, please dont confuse the 2 as there is no comparison, as you are beginning to find out!

in that case probably best not to send request to kap or abrites then .

seriously remove chip and read or buy in code , if its not playing it can cause grief if you try and car gets hump.

unless fly offer support and can fix the issues , maybe send them log files and see what they say , but dont hold breath with them

as mvp pro and ad100 pro have a very limited coverage on astra G , the keypro m8 will have same low coverage .

im not aware of a clone with even passable pin reading on these old astra G

I use my zedbull for these, works well.

zedbull has alot of coverage , but still a long way behind that of avdi and crypto works , both these have a much wider coverage , though if it has an engine type that is covered by zedbull i use zed first as quick as no set up just plug and play

Can you tell us what you've had success on using FVDI, pin wise.
