Hello guys,

Two questions,

If added directly to dump,will remote work?
Can second hand keys be reused?

I am open for suggestions for OBD tool to do these.

Bear in mind cheap tools,as cheap customers require cheap tools :D

Yes second hand keys can be reused. As they are no need to reset or change texas chip.

ids is ok too for these .(reasonably cheap too)

Check battery if there is a problem with remotes on theses as they shear off the board and wont charge of work .

Battery problems were present but not with the remote.
Van wouldn't start,IMMO light blinking fast - I thought ECU lost synchro.
I said to customer check battery first.
Says even tried to start with a booster.
I go with my car,measure the voltage on battery - 6.7 VOLTS!!
I take cables,power the van with my car.
Van starts instantly.

Then I gave customer my contact and asked me for a spare key :D

Faulty auxiliary 12v battery can cause this, it drags down the main battery to the point where it won't start.
Boost pack sometimes insufficient to start, set of heavy duty jumper leads connected to running engine usually gets it started.
