Hi,

I have an F5S which has worked for some time.
It is connected to a communal dish which sky installed 18 months ago.

For some strange reason fta channels will not even load.
I seem to be having huge issues with no signal when using Ajs latest lists which used to be 100% reliable in the past. Channel list websites latest list which is based on cwaites did bring a couple of channels back at 60-70% SNR when i tried fixing the issue last night but now with the bad weather im back to square one.

Could weather really degrade signal so much as to make my quality 10% and intenstity 45%? Or could it be in need of a reflash, replace lnb on dish or possibly my box is dying?.

my friend got an openbox v5s yesterday and hes had a lot of no signal problems to the point the only way he can watch tv is to do a blind scan and use that list.

Please can somebody share a little of their knowledge because im ripping my hair out here

Sky are moving a lot of channels around and will continue for the next few weeks. check all cables are sound and not loose ask a neighbour is there tv is ok or try a diffrent chnl list mate ..

Ask your mate to dump his channel list onto a usb and load that one into your box worth a try

you answered your own question in line #2
communal dish
the lnb isn't switching from v to h and you get no signal.

Hi Just try a blind scan and see how many channels it finds. If you get some channels then its not likely to be the LNB but could be alignment issues or faulty box like so many have had recently.
