Audi A4 8D dashobard problem

Hi!
I have a customer with problematic dash. Sometimes the needles drop down to 0 and lcd switched on/off and show false warnings. I never repair A4 dash with problems like these. This symptons are connected to the well known 908 MCU problem?

HW or SW(only flash) problem. So I mean MCU change is necessary?

2 types of problems on these dashboards:

Eeprom/Flash corrupted you can solve easy with carprog on 95% of times.

MCU dead, you will notice failures, resets and so on. ...

Normally temperature is the best way to check .

If you notice differences when cold/hot then most probable is MCU .

As you KNow is a very common problem.

You could install new one and restore all original info.

Also they are very sensitive with the CENTRAL FIS, take care...

Just connect the new mcu with carprog, and click on repair and chose your version (V7.95ML) and carprog will do the rest

I bought a new programmed MCU from codecard. Swapped with the old but after about 1 day later the problems occured again. Any ideas?
