The lock needs at least 1 number 4 position.

lol tibbe from photo is asking for trouble
1 & 2 cuts are nightmare on worn keys

I've had problems and that's being next to car. always solved but never do just from photo / looking at key

- once really worn the fun begins & easier to pick & decode lock

Cheap ass tibbe pick, straight into the ignition lock, pick and pull the lock, slip a paper clip down the side of the pick to release it, take the ignition lock apart with a circlip pliers and a flat blade screwdriver and read the discs, each disc will have a number on it, make sure you line everything up correctly when you reassemble it all. job now takes me 10 minutes from start to finish. Easier than all the hassle like Steve says.

to pick and decode is a minute or 2 work , very easy on tibbe , had a 2008 transit with lost keys yesterday , picked , decoded , key cut and programmed in , job took 12 minutes from starting to finished , paid and gone. these have been around a long time and a quick easy job , my silca delta fo cuts a perfect key in a minute once decoded .

the 8 cut jag with the new tool just released is even quicker , as no need to pick first , just insert , turn all turners to end position and read the key , 30 seconds , works on all bar the very old lock where you still need to pick first , but only 3 heights so simpler again

Wait until you get a gem like this one.
Can't remember what the outcome was, but had to pull the ignition and read the discs, as the door locks were shot.http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=319523&stc=1http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=319524&stc=1

thats more like the keys i normally see . if doors shot , id pick and decode ignition then use a paper clip or pick to push dust cover back to remove key , though its a quick job to remove ign and strip too

if a tibbe lock it must have at least 1 x number 4 cut in it to drive it, so is unlikely to be 331321 , one of these or more will be a 4 cut , if you put a blank key in lock and impression it the 4 cuts will soon show themselves , also any tibbe tool will id the solid 4 cuts instantly .

i use both the lishi catarpillar pick and the safeventures pick on tibbe

i have for years used the safeventures tool on the 8 cut jag but now use the new genuine lishi tool as no need to pick , just insert , push all discs to end position and read key , takes 20 seconds to read the jag 8 cut
