Hi Everyone a desperately need some help if anyone can help here u would be saving a great deal of hair lose, I deleted my DBS file as i got a brand new V6 box which was blank someone gave me image file to put onto the box but when i use it Sky Premiere comes in as Challenge tv i did not keep the old DBS and i believe this is why the channel list is wrong it is also not showing any of the sky movie channels. I think i need an V6 image file to fix this problem. does anyone know were i have went wrong or even were i can get a image file to test out i have tried searching in the down loads but it does not seam to find a image file i am new to this and it is possible i am not imputing something in my searches. There is new firmware for the box but when i try to change the image file using it comes up with upgrade file is a mismatch so i am taking it that it does not contain the image file.
Thanks in advance if there are any guys out there that can help me sorry if people help me out here and i don't reply straight AWAY BUT I HAVE TO GO TO MY WORK just now AND WILL PICK THE TREAD UP AGAIN TOMORROW

hi again barney if the box is working (firmware) but not channels u will only need to upgrade the dbs file which is the channel list to get latest channel listings, try AJS list should work on your box http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/358725-AJ-s-Sky-UK-Channel-List-**Only**-Thread-Updated-Regularly when u place the file dbs on usb make sure u extract the zip file so on your usb it should show as TP_PROG.dbs take a bit of time to read the setup guide posted in openbox section http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/257009-Openbox-setup-guide cheers shaun

What software do you currently have on your box? (menu > tools > information).

You seem to be getting confused between image files (.abs) & channel lists (.dbs). You need an up to date channel list to receive the changes made recently to the $ly movie channels & Racing UK. The latest image (firmware) is for getting XMLTV EPG working again.

There are threads in the stickies (AJ & CWAITE) with the latest channel lists.

Also, if you still need to update your firmware, make sure that you unpack it first, as they are compressed files.

EDIT...sorry shaunfree. Didn't see your post until after I had posted mine.

Hi Guys a cant thank use enough for sticking with me. The problem I had was not opening the zip firmware & channel list downloads from the zip file use gave me I was trying to put them on the box while they were still in a zip format> so simple a mistake.
I have been all round the internet getting no were with people just at it!!! giving no help even misleading u so well done guys.
I have one more problem if anyone can help with this one. When watching the channels they are all coming up with hard for hearing text I looked in the box but could not see anything that turns it off any idea's.
I know this is not the correct forum for this but when people do a word search it should show up I have been specialising in Android boxes I know just about everything about them and can get about everything I have just found a repo that gives you the hole of sky and world wide tv sport, film, music, sky football, moveis everything as you see it on sky perfect picture I don't know how long it will stay open to us but you never know if anyone needs any help or advice setting things up let me know the latest repo runs IPTV
Shaun/Hadron well done I have been looking for a site like this to help people who are interested in helping others so spot on.

When watching the channels they are all coming up with hard for hearing text I looked in the box but could not see anything that turns it off

On the remote control:
Press 'Subtitle' and scroll to 'off' and press 'ok'

If you get the audio description ie some random voice in the background describing what's happening then:
Press 'Audio' then scroll to a different audio channel and press 'ok'
