Focus 2 remote

Hi!

I had today a focus 2 where i just changed the remote i relearn the remote with switching ignition on and off.
remote was working but car not starting anymore.
I had to take my avdi and with key learning function i could add the key.

So my question has the focus2 the immo in the remote??

after u learn key how many key u have ? in immo?

Was it a flip key or straight remote key?


The straight remote key has the transponder chip in the remote.

i saw immo in remote for ford focus but newer car 2010 flip chei
but if u only programing remote chip can not be erase from the car

Yes m8 it was a straight key. Car was from 2006 thx fot the info

there are some aftermarket ford keys that have remote + immo in remote, its a remote and a silca electronic head transponder together in remote. They are the big shhiitt I have ever seen hahaha
Usually keys are 4d in head and remote.

M8 the transponder has to be apert from remote so have a look if is in the old shell, if yes just insert it on the new one and it is donne..
