Hi,I'm looking for a way to connect my clone sbb programmer to old nissan 14 pin diagnostic socket.I must relearn the key and need your advice how to connect to nats4 on '98 nissan micra.I have check the wiring-it's ok,immo led is off but engine mil lamp is blinking after key is in on position and the car won't start.I think it's immo problem but if I'm wrong please correct me.

I use a cable like what Automat (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/member.php/195286-Automat) posted, these also work with other tools like AD100. Cheaper than buying thier dedicated cable.

Thank you but I have already check all grounds, battery terminal 30,starter terminal 50 and all supplies after ignition and main relay on ecu connector and it's ok.Immo line was checked too and I think immobox on this car is faulty. What is your suggestion about immo off on ecu M1.9.5 bosch ref. 0261204243,is it possible by dump of 93c46 or I will need emulator for this ecu.I have make a search on forum but all threads are not very clear about this.

not possible to turn off immo by dump. Have you read dtc from car?

Guys the 14-way has a square wave output (clk) and separate 5V and 12V I/O lines
Its very doubtful the SBB scantool has internal circuitry so a simple - 14-way to 16-way would not work.
A special adaptor like my old AD100 has i imagine would exist.
yeah did an old mirca the other day - NATs 2
must be some people like me who have kept there old kits - u might be lucky n find 1 for sale :)

Yes,I have read it with bosch kts and there are three faults about anti theft system faulty. When I clear the errors the engine mil lamp was steady on but in next time ignition on mil lamp is blink again.

You are right,I can't connect to nats system to try key adaptation with simple convertor cable. So,I was confused where is the problem with this car, with nats system or with it's synchronization with engine ecu.Wiring to nats system was checked also and there are no problem.

Hm tough maybe faulty immo. Maybe best to swap ecu units with another
my comment really to do with key coding kit.
these old cars are annoying cos customer really does want to pay much to fix

I did a Terrano 2 1997 with 14 pins last week end, all key lost. Used SBB with 14/16 pins adapter of X431 , no connection. Try a scan with X431, same result. I thougt ECU is dead, so connect another ecu MECM, no anychange. Finally, disconnect immo box antenna, desolder, read TMS370 NATS 2 ID41 with Xprog and prgramme 2 keys from dump with EFFI. Car restart the first try.
