Adult channels

Dear DigitalKaos members,

Could someone please tell me how to completely remove the adult channels or put a parental lock on such channels? I've used the "No Adult" update from AJ's channel list but this does not remove the channels (I guess it's just for updating the frequencies).

Any help would be appreciated.

Aj's NO ADULT channel list means there are no xxx channels......after the channel update did you re-boot the box ??

If you want to keep the Adult favourites but lock them, then there's an option in menu > edit channel > channel edit. You need to select all the channels in the Adult favourites, then select the Lock option.

It's also a good idea to change the default parental PIN from the default 0000.

You can also delete the Adult Favourite section by deleting all the channels in the Adult section in menu > edit channel > favourites edit. Once all the channels in a favourite section have been deleted, the favourite header no longer shows up.

...but like P&D says, if you install a "no adult" list from AJ, then you shouldn't see any Adult favourites.

There's a way around that, instead of selecting favourites, you can select A-Z, and the adult channels can be selected from there.

Should I install the one with adults, then do the parental lock as you said, then do the no adult favorites? That way, it will be locked on A-Z too

if u dont want adult channels they can just be deleted after update,cheers shaun
