Hi m8 try to program new transponder sometimes that model when battery is flat it happens...

Start error cause no syncrone DAS between Ecu
but you mus check Actual Value On Das key number position .
Post your 5p08 Ecu here..

Other cause In Das show key in ignition ------ check your anthena amplifier.

from the actual value @ post #1, shouldn't i be making keys that are not irrevocably blocked?

key 5 and 8 are irrevocably blocked, meaning will not work?

You must check ring anthena or DAS inside EAM problem.
i can make sure where the problem. I have to tiemviewer by stardiagnosis.

I have made many MB vehicels with china CR2 emulator and never had any problems...

About status "Key in ignition lock = ....."
Please check keysense (orange colour) wire is live when the key is in the ignition?

This lock position indicates the key is to put a stranger, and prevent ignition is switched on.

starter motor relay is controled by engine ECU, if everything is OK with relay try to make ECU coding with star, if not possible make ECU virgin and then recode it with star... are you shure your remote working and transmits signals, as I remember remote control reciever is in front SAM module...

yes, remote is good, tested the frequency

i think problem is with the ignition switch, will fix it and try again

Just a few days ago, electrones had a similar problem.

EDIT: Also do you have any DTCs now with emulator?

I would start by turning your star diagnosis system up and read those actual values.

replaced new switch, same problem

fixed emulator
still no crank and no remote

start error gone, can start if short starter relay

short starter relay OR give 12V direct on starter and try to start


fixed emulator
and no remote

Radio receiver is integrated in immobox if you cut CAN pin remote control also not work


starter motor relay is controled by engine ECU,
test ecu signal to relay
