OSMC very similar to Kodi in a lot of aspects but has had an overhaul works on the Pi as well as AppleTv and other devices. if you like to Mess or just fancy a change take a look

In my opinion PRI2/3 does not have enough performance for Kodi/XBMC and OSMC. Yes, it's working, but sometimes freezes... I use Movian for RPi2/3 (IPTV, media player, streaming video/audio, ....)

my personal experiance with surfshark if you want access netflix or kodi surfshark was best option ever and they also gives 7 days trial if in case you did not satisfied with their services
they have 30 days refund policy

I use Kodi on my phone connected with a HDMI/MHL Cable to the TV. Works so much better than a RPi. Direct Plays/Direct Streams 10Bit 4K HDR Natively as well.
