EDC17C41 DDE8 520d F10 Ktag 6.070 can't read

Hi,

anyone had problems to read EDC17C41 DDE8 520d F10 ecu with ktag clone?

my only read 76% and give me an "error Reading". i try every thing and nothing...

it read eeprom but processor only read 76%.

i try with and without 16pin rainbow cable and is the same... i take a look in rainbow cable connection in board and pins not connect nothing in the board...

i check componentes in board and is the same like original Ktag board foto...

anyone have some idea?

I have seen in a russian forum that they replaced oscilator near the nxp processor

I think if it had tp that ktag doesn't support it won't let you read it at all. Anyway if you have problems reading it I advice you not to write it

you need boot and 2 rainbow cable yellow and orange and you have placed the yellow and orange on the wrong spot

once you use proper rework and propers software i dont have reason for for any improvisation. smd oscillator is from Murata, very good quality. I saw any kind of ktags. They do now all types of ecu nowadays. Sw has also a huge contribution

hi, i put correct rainbow cable in two correct spot...This happens with and without rainbow cable connected... ktag reads only 76%...

i will rework andi will see what happens

If you rework hardware good, and have a good power suplier. It Will work. I made 26 f-serie without anny issue.

yes, rework is necesary with good component, buy too necesary good power supply
