What did you read this with, and why the flash? Mileage is stored in the eeprom portion of the 9S12, file size 2048.

I understand that fxshaw was having some issues, with all new tools there are setbacks and also new methods . In support of the toolmakers that supply us with the utensils to complete our daily tasks Dp4 not perfect yet we all take a gamble i used my upa and a calculater , I know many members here have it and no issues. Support is always avail in China . This unit seems to update faster. Im sure it can read this nissan CORRECTLY and calculate CORRECTLY.Help desk walked me threw these update issues.

Having issue is one thing but buying a tool that wasn't working to begin with and then no one wants to exchange it..nooo now after few freaking weeks of crappy support..got to pay to send back and at the end...you pay for their crappy mistake of a tool.

I tried the BDM points but weird thing...I could of read the data but could not write..why is that?

Connection BMD A10 Using Carprog...Just match color and good to go & Power Up for cluster with CAN lines to program OBD..

were you able to program miles thru CAN connection and BDM with carprog? if you dont mind explaining more especially the can line programming.

FxShaw

Two different type of connections...One is BDM and other is through Can system which is pretty much the same as if it was on the car.
With carprog I was only able to read and not write with BDM... But OBD.. I was able to read and write. I hope that answer yr question.

since you had a picture detailing power connection and CAN, i was thinking you connected your obd connector to those connections and was able to reset the cluster on bench after power up
