Did you do it by OBD?
Galleto v54 or other version?

U can do OBD but leave ecu open to make the bridge.
U can use bench too, or KTag!

hi

mpps do it by obd on bench without problems. no need to immo off or some other methods. just read and write.
or better in car with galletto by obd. never had problems.

I've always managed these via obd. Some cars are fussy and ask for more than 13.5v

Hi
all 163hp from year 2005 are MED9.1 for sure,only 150hp and 180hp before year 2004 are ME7.1 or ME7.5

2005 1.8t is ME7.5

It can be done via OBD but beware of P1681 with some clone tools after programming.

Mr Daz is right , it is 1000% ME7.5 ultra friendly ECus , most tools do them. With Original Tool you won`t have any problem at all
