what you guys use to maintain voltage to car for say pin reading bsi units?
what is best solution for mobile locksmiths?

if in the garage I use battery booster/charger with regulable voltage and set it at 14 V , for mobile better way is to connect the battery of your van/car to the customers vehicle but use good wire and flexible ,before buying check that the wires must be 100% cooper and also the clips for ficing it on bettery to avoid any voltage lose.
For peugeot you can also with pps deactivate showrom mode or remove fuse ,i think you can found their location on abrite peugeot manual.

Be careful using industrial booster/chargers (One vehicle i was working on spiked my genuine VCM when the customer connected it in start mode)
I use a Snap on jump pack or very good quality jump cables (Copper Type).

Got snap on jump pack too
just don't think would trust if say on for an hour to give regular voltage

i think standard snapon jump pack 20ah.
I have 22ah in mine after old one was not holding charge.
Fully charged should let you pull pin via obd on pug i would have though.

I use this thing also, It's awesome. But I don't do mobile work. Might not be so convenient for mobile use. But for shop it great
