Mercedes Benz key all by IR cheap kit

Hi

I am thinking to start to make some mercedes keys, I know that for sure I can only make to 2006 (Motorola EIS), the question is if I can do all by IR in cars <2006 with this kit:

EIS IR reader: 500€ (With this I think I can read EIS and Password by IR, I think it works with all motorola EIS)

Am I right? Can I make keys for <2007 by IR without desoldering with this kit without problems?

You can?t make keys without soldering. AK500 + SKC are good Tools to make keys.

Are you from Germany ?

Better to safe your 500$ and buy ak500 or old ak400 that work Good!!
Or just get rosfar clone+skc+nec key prog gold and its done,yes you will need to solder and desolder.
There is no tool today on the market who is able to read ezs password at 100% ,only hash of ecu dump,even my old MI was not able to read all pass from ezs,some it work other not.! c'est la vie ! :)

MBE and simontouch are 2 differents tools with diffrents SOFT!!

MBE has very similar program and same price, so if you say that MBE works better could be an option to read EIS/pass by IR... What do you think?

I have MBE, great folks.. but here in the US, there isn't much coverage... Out of 12 cars and suv's I have been able to pull one password via the IR key.. And the later model EIS's aren't covered by the documentation... A 2008 W164 EIS that is in the documentation is totaly different than the one I pulled out... Soooooo, are you saying the Simon touch works better? or worse???

wtever MBE claim they do , it does, it never fails and still one of the best in market from the functions it has and the support and the consistency
at least they dont claim that their tool does this and this and it doesnt like other tools.

You are right, this is why I don't want to solder/desolder the original key or the EIS because is a very expensive car here in my country. I don't mind to destroy a toyota or a VW key because I can make 5 in 5 minutes, but Benz is another history, you know...
So for a key from time to time if MBE works it could be an option because in my country new Benzs go to dealer, so mainly I have some vito and things like that to make keys...

Best way is to buy keys from scrapy, i try always to have 5-10 keys in stock. Regards china keys i have no experience, i use only Ori ones. And the pro sets should do china keys with no problem

Chinese keys won't wok with noimmo EVO V12 . Only original keys. There is always original keys available. U can PM me

With AK500(when it works) I can program them without issues(at least better than AVDI). Only problem is remote works for the drivers door only the first time you press it. You need to press second time for the other doors...

I use this IR rpogrammer for chinse key, work very well and fast. 30s writting a key by IR.
But chinese key compatible only from 2000. Before 2000, some time work, some time need putting several time in EZS for unlock ESL and start car.

i ve never managed to make it work as well , but i think we need extra software for change the original dump then write it on key

Yes, exactly, you need open an utility, insert the key dump by Blue button, clic to other button (RED) to save. After that, you can write the key with IR. I'll post tomorrow the utility. It's in chinese.
But Blue to Open dump, Red save dump.

You should of gotten a .BIN converter utility with it, it reverses some of the data so it will work with the Chinese keys. I have done around 20 of them now and every one has worked.

It would be nice if they made a key for Vans though as the boot button doesn't so anything on Vito or Sprinter.

I but mine from Autokey,us. no issues with the keys working, the only issue has been the chrome side plates can move up and down so they need a little dab of glue.

So you key is BGA style. This one i bought is good china material quality, look very nice and cheap. Just take out and rework some point solder on pcb.

The ones I get are like that but without the panic button as we don't use that here, I haven't had to redo solders on any of them either. I have been using one on my van for 10+ months now with no issue on it.

It would be nice if we could get these for vans with the button for sliding doors instead of boot.

The red button no had switch in PCB. Chinese has 2 type of key shell, with and without panic. I alway rework solder from chinese electronique. That will save me time and white hair if problem come on.
