Hi all
i have bit of a problem with daewoo matiz about 2002 i think
garage changed barrel as it has failed
after barrel change it didnt want to start.
i went there and checked with mvp that ecu id was correct, immo id was FFFF.
i tried to pair up ecu and immo, no luck. i decided to read immo and one of the legs fallen of the 93c56.
i did tons of those eep and didnt put any extra force than usual so i assume it was faulty anyway.
took another 93c56 and uploaded file form another matiz.
i could see by mvp that immo id was visible but it was different to ecu id.
tried to pair them up - no luck.
told garage to order set form different car. so we have second hand ecu and immo and keys.
all plugged in - car will not start.
and security light behaves strange - when i disconnect battery and connect it back again its flashing slow as it should. when i turn ign on its flashing quick and even when i turn it off its still flashing quick. the flashing speed is somewhere in between very fast- wrong key and slow - ign off mode.
photos of ecus and immos attached.
can anyone give me a clue how to get the car up and running. or is there another part of the system coded to ecu and immo?
any advice much appreciated.

Read the original keys and the new keys.

You will find one is ID48 and the other is ID13.

It would have been a simple job to swap the transponder chips.

Now you will need to trim away part of the carbon on the original 93C56 Eeprom and get a good read then write it to another 93C56 Eeprom and solder it back.

Then swap the transponders or replace with the correct type.

You didnt have to all that stuff, I had same problem after changing barrel...you just need to set antenna in right position of the key position, if you know what I mean 0, I, II, III...if antenna not placed on good spot, will not work, and immo will make that problem with flashing led.

Had this problem since two month, everything was done when I put antenna on right position (positions are written on antenna shell).

both systems- original and new/donor one are id48.
old ecu is kemsco D3 4U
new one is kemsco D3 5U
customer managed to loose original eeprom with broken leg so no way to retrieve ori immo data.
any immo off advice?
or maybe someone with 93c56 immo data file form kemsco D3 4U?

thanks in advance

Hi Rob I've got same car and surprise surprise original key is id48 andnew key with barrel is id13. Light on dash is constant flashing.

I'll check position of coil if you've done few of these via dump. Your welcome to my immo dump posting

Mate I had same problem, and that makeup situation...for you, no way if eeprom is broken, I can give you my dump its from Daewoo Nubira ID48, but I think its better to make virgine dump from donor IMMO and try to program IMMO as a new, or buy IMMO and ECU from same car, and his old keys put in new immo...if you can unlock transponders if not write new transponders in new immo...that I will do, if you ask me :)

That IMMO is kids play...post here dump from IMMO and send me print screen of megamos ID48 page reading and I will add you keys in dump...

yes i could of just swapped chips but these glass ones break easily. My problem is I'm constantly let down by other people's incompetency lol

hay cheap shot Alan :mad-new: - AVDI had 2 eeprom failures and now packed up altogether. Can't blame me for thinking the tools let me down 1st
I'm fixing AVDI (hopefully) as have jobs blacked-up - it may not be tops at eeprom'ing but for VAG the best!!!

lol
