2004 Touareg V6 Steering Defective Workshop

I have 2004 Touareg towed to my shop .
Hooked up the VCDS to scan for codes and can not connect to any controllers except "sound System
stereo and seats work key fob locks and unlocks the car as normal
any idea where should I start

Have you checked any of the comms lines to any of the modules that you cannot communicate with?

Have you checked the Ignition Relays..............? There are located under drivers foot-well

If you have a genuine VAG-COM\VCDS cable then register it online then you can join the Ross-Tech forum (http://forums.ross-tech.com). Pirate cable users get a black pirate flag and no one gets a good reply.
