MXQ's are not bad but the best one out there are called M8S+ they have a Quad Core
Processor & well it says 2 Gig of Memory but in actual fact it's just over 1.5 Gig of
Memory there is a dealer on the Net called Tomtop they sell them for around forty
odd dollars but the price of their postage is around $30 so it can work out around
?55 in total however they accept Paypal payment which is secure & they sell genuine
M8S+ Boxes don't buy it off of Ebay UK there is a dealer in Birmingham who is
selling copies along with a dodgy wireless keypad for nearly ?40 but the software
is MXQ which is not the original & the Memory is less than 700MB which means
it's slower than the original anyway the choice is your to make

Any other suggestions to replace an MXQ on Jarvis? Very slow lately and majority of links dead now. Not sure if this is down to ISP blocking but I think part of problem is insufficient memory.

I've had a couple of the android boxes off amazon all the chinese imports and none are perfect so ended up getting the nvidia shield and wish I did it sooner instead of wasting £££ on 60 quid boxes.

To go small and functional: Xiaomi Mi Box S. if you are tight in budget go with Ematic Jetstream 4K Ultra HD TV Box for perfect home theater: VANKYO MatrixBox X95 Max.

I have tried loads through the years, and I am very happy with the Nvidia shield, plus ive just got into the retroarch scene, and dont forget you can stream from your Nvidia GPU too,

I have Chinky boxes but try not to buy them recently. Not sure if the shield is Chinese, heard its the best. I've been using a Pi 2 and an old MXQ booting off sd card. Anybody tried the big memory version of the Pi 4 ?

Nvidia shield pro. Cost more than others but does everything. Allows Dolby Atmos and 7.1 etc
