1) Unlike Alpine made Chrysler units Mitsubishi code ranges are 0000-9999 and 1111-6666 (and probably 1111-5555 as well), so one will be lost with identifying correct serial=code examples by code ranges

2) Most of those examples of serial=codes are from very old radios and probably codes are changed by reprogramming MCU

3) Moreover, unlike Alpine units Mitsubishi code calculated not only from last 4 digits of the serial but 8 digits - 4 before letter and 4 after it...
example:
T00AM1771T5049 i.e. 17715049

All above listed makes the task very difficult to complete...

Take this into account if you are going to develop serial calculation algorithm

Nonsense this colection codes are generated from the serial and model part number.Same serial with any part number have code different.

I have a lot of material on codes for the Chrysler AM series,
but I still haven't figured out the decoding algorithm.
The only thing I managed to find out is the encoding algorithm for T00AMххххМхххх
For the rest, there is the ability to determine the code from the database.
But there is an exception: there is a European and American dealer database.
Only the European coding system is available to me.
