hi i got a vw LT35 2.8 TDI with edc15c4 ecu , the customer keeps on frying the thing with his home made add-ons , i fit a ecu do the coding and wiring , bus runs for month and then he add wires and for sound and what ever else and pop the ecu , at least he come and say he did something and now the bus do not start and when he open the ecu all is burned , at this point the dead ecu's is piling up and i got spares and some $$$ and now i am running out of a supply for this type of ecu , my question is can i take any edc15c4 ecu say from a bmw dde4 and just swap the flash and eeprom , the plugs is the same im just not sure about all the output and input pins
