i did and the miles froze wouldnt clock up when driving

.... How in the hell is it that neither tachosoft or any number of tool makers failed to get this yazaki algo correct has always been a mystery to me,

next time, use your tool, but pick a number that is a multiple of 17,

so if i had input 4998 it would have been ok using dp3 17 * 294 4998, why is this

Actually... thats not quite true either,...

That relies on the tool actually acknowledging the verification space, which i think most ignore,
From the top of the file down, you have 17 instances of the milage (milage / 17) that counts up, as it counts up, the next 17 pairs of bytes change from 00 to FF, if you dont get that right, then you never get it counting,

Just redo the dash take for a 1 mile drive if it adds up miles your sorted simple

Or alternatively,spend more time on here,learning how to do it by hand, when your quite expensive box fails,or f***s it up lol

Or just use your DP3 in a different program to do it , works every time.
