Transponder programming...

I did never program a Transponder. I just programmed Mercedes EIS keys. Now, i?ve got FVDI with TAG tool. I found an old Fiat key with Transponder. I couldn?t read it. I opened the keys and took the Transponder chip in the middle of the tag tool. Without success. Then, i took the Transponder on the top of the tag tool nearly the cable. Now, i can read. The same with yours ? I think, it has not enough inductive power ?! How are the experiences with this tool ?

it is normal, read manual of key tag, some transponders need to be located on the top of it.

But what can i do, if i cannot replace Transponder from key ?

what key you tried to program exacly? i will check on my original key tag tool

Tagkey fvdi dont work good even the original is not that good i geuss there was a guy on DK who replaced the original coil with a renault antenna an he could read good for this kind of jobs i use zedbull v508 wprks perfect

FVDI is not strong in reading HITAG keys as i noticed, you need to modify the tag programmer a litle bit, check my post about it in FVDI topic.
