is there a way to get the mechanical key code from this car like through VIN or dump?
key is old type.

the rest i have but did not have mechanical key code for making key.

any of you guys know where i can buy the old style keys for this car?
is it with pcf7931 transponder?
i also need one with a id73 old style for a x5 for spare!

The key blank you need is HU92 than with cuts from the key head 44211231.
( i think they say old type as for CAS2 was the old diamond shape head remote with HU92 blade in earlier versions, and the newer type was the "smart key" with only a hole where you insert the whole key).

I get remote keys from Uobd2 for this car, pretty cheap (around 22 usd ) and always worked for me, and you can change freq. with changing a resistor's position.
You can find it as remote key for BMW 3/5 series or something like this, and the transponder will be 7941.

did the lost key yesterday with multitool.
all ok now. car is running again.
