Seeing how the effi project is dead I've spent a few days having a look at making another program.

I have zed-bull 7.01 with about 60 modules if anyone has newer versions please pm me a link (The latest version is quite well protected so I need somewhere in-between ideally)

Also anyone who contributed to effi with bug fixes or new modules if you can pm me with this information so I can add when needed.

Also I've really not got a lot of time to be messing with this so it will take a quite a while to get to the same point as effi so please just pm me info rather than questions about it.

*edit - settings page and megamos48 done

Paul why not try the cn900 version they given up working on it,thats pretty nice unit. The software is her on dk if you need it. There is no motorcycle on that software so those could be added. I'm trying to get the open source for that soft from the author.

would be good to get open source + firmware source then there a chance of getting cn transponders etc working.

I now know how all the hitag2 and id48 code works on zed-bull

I now have v7.2.8 thanks to a pm which is useable - this has 90 modules and 8 hidden modules (I assume untested or not complete??)

no, its protected well and written in delphi so hard to do anyway.

I can sniff the comms to the zed-bull and decrypt to see any data being written to the transponder but probably wont be much use on most modules.

Hopefully Andrius and the rest who gave the modules to effi will send me the info

yes they are the same commands as the normal sized one

settings and megamos48 tabs done, already can read/write hitag but will take some time getting the options/selections done and code nice and tidy.

Still no module bugs/info.. could do with getting as much info before I start adding any modules so I can design the code as flexible as possible rather than having to hack/rewrite the code etc.

your running out of patience with slow progress??? feel free to write your own program.. as I said I've limited time to spend on this and would not have posted about it yet except I knew it would take time to get all the info from people.

Running out of patience? 5 days after Paul said he was looking at the possibility of making a new software and asking for some input for new modules? No promises implied or given on timescale so I fail to see what you are loosing patience with.

Possibly a big ask but if it would be possible if you do get anywhere with this. To make the software compatible with both the clone Zed-Bulls and the original that would be a bonus. As EFfi only works with the clone devices.

I did think about that but thought for the price of a clone I didn't think anyone would bother, if the lastest version is like 7.2.8 I think it will be easy to implement it working on both.. I may make a little test program at some point if someone wants to test on an original ZB

Ori Zed works with both older 7.2.8 software and current software. No more updates for eprom modules on the genuine zed so would be nice to get a little more use out of it. Got ori Zed-Bull and more than happy to test anything you want to try.

Exactly. Would be great if Paul makes it work(adding some new options) for original ZedBull. Was good machine left behind with so many users unhappy. Really only dedicated person can spend his time to do this. Such people deserve admire. Respect Paul.
