Hi, just out of curiosity (as I have to do this either way :) )
I have a Trafic with a dead engine and a defect turbo which sucked some metal bits from the engine. It's a 115 dCi...
I also happen to have a Laguna (since Friday) with the same M9R engine but it's a 150 HP version.
I did some research and it seems the head is the same on both (I knew the block was) It looks as if the injectors and the turbo (and of course the ECU) is responsible for the extra 35 HP.
You know where this is going, don't you?!? ;)
So the question is - if I were to use the flywheel, all the sensors, the wiring loom and of course the ECU from the Trafic on the Laguna engine BUT keep the Laguna injectors and turbo then can I get away with only a REMAP on the Trafic original ECU and live happily ever after?!?
Or did I just miss something? Like different camshaft/valve openings... :s:
