but vcds can see this dashboard

Your reading is not good. reread with xprog

Except a few bytes, dump is ok.
Put this flash in Micronas and dash will be ok

Ask someone with Smelecom to come and plug in and use error fix..........simples

if not solve, using the Odin and flash the cluster.

I use digiprog 3 clone yanhau. Plug in read change km cluster dies. Then unplug key off and back on and restart the whole job reads 0km and cluster comes back on km mod done perfect.

Hello , everyone.
I need to reflash a dash Audi A3 2007 VDO 8P0 920 931.
I have to take the program of one dash , store it on my PC and flash it into another dash bacause off the immo.
I?ve opend the dash and think i have to read the bid MCU thats on the print.
Can anyone tell me witch MCU i have to read and flash , there are more than one MCU.
I have experience with flashing but it seems that i do not have the correct socket for this MCU , anyone knows the socket i need and if i need a special program..
Or can i use what ever program that can read and write MCU

the immo is in 24c32 eeprom, but the micronas flash has the encryption key

in other words, you need both if you want to read/edit immo data.
x-prog m works well to read micronas mcu

After change km by obd and dash die and you can't use options repair by digiprog you have use xprog and read micronas than compare dump with other dash. The problem is on the end files micronas most often.

like has been said here mate. plug in a digiprog3. just redo the process. it comes back to life.
i did same to an s3 cluster with fvdi. digiprog sorted it out no problem.

i have many (cheap) digiprog clones, they all can get this cluster back to life... But yeah. it has to connect first. i think your obd cable is bad.. does is connect on other (can-bus) cars??


btw. i always use the a3/-2012 option
