hi

i changed ecu with another identical ecu (same HW vag, same HW bosch, same SW bosch).

i need (maybe) immo off for this ecu in object, i try the "classic" immo off, car work but have some info on dash : immobilizer key, blink glow plug and esp.

i have all two ecu's backup, anyone have solution?

thanks

You need to make immo off in eeprom and dash warnings disappear.

Next time post in immo or locksmith section. Just write this e2 to ecu. All data are from old ecu.

You need to flash in new ecu the original file it came with, and the eeprom the mate gave you. No need to immo off in flash. But i guess he cloned old ecu in new, not immo off. ;)

ok tomorrow i write original flash of this ecu without immo off

I mean that in immo/locksmith section you get reply faster on your question. You need just write new eeprom to orginal new ecu and it should work like old(all important immo data are already inside from old). Probably it will work with immo off in flash too but better to stay orginal as much is possible.

flash is original from used ecu...or need flash from broken ecu?

morgano

Original that came with ecu. From broken ecu just needed the data he copied on new eeprom. ;)

Write coding with vcds like on old ecu. Car start now?

carmageddon

i repeat : car work always without problem, i have only 1 dtc, P0610, can be deleted from diagnosis this dtc?

You seems to have big problems with basic things. When it will be possible to do it then why you wasent able to do it and ask for solution like: Clear fault codes.

i dont delete NEVER dtc from ecu, but this situation (with one job that are not mine : immo) i can not what i need to do and my user want to solve obviously.

i will thanks for help autofan1965, fantomisback, morgano and others for help

after swap e2p data from original to used ecu (autofano1965) i delete P0610 (fantomisback) from used ecu flash (no immo off on flash needed) and all ok...no errors.

Nice to see you solved, but i think writing same coding from old ecu to new with vdcs should solve P0610 no need delete it from flash.

But glad you have it working now ;)

Yes, dtc delete in flash is not the good solution to solve problems.

Hi all,
I did a rhd to lhd conversion in a golf 6 2009 and after Coding all the modules to LHD I get blinking glow plugs and 001552 -engine control unit incorrectly coded. There is no option to change rhd to lhd in coding of the engine control unit .
