Hi there guys.
I have a client with a Landrover Freelander 1999 / 2000 model. Lost all keys. We are trying to make him keys, but cannot find the EWS. The key place has a coil around the ignition meaning that it is the transponder system and as far as I know they use the same BMW EWS system. I cannot find the EWS. Checked behind the radio, removed the instrument cluster, checked under steering wheel, center console.
When you trun the ignition then you can here relays clicking in the fuse box but car not cranking. That's how a BMW would work if incorrect key or transponder not detected.
Any clues on this one?
