2004 Hyundai 1.5 CRDi takes seconds to start
Here we have a 3cyl 12V 1493 diesel
No chance to read DTC cause I don't scan Hynudai, btw there's no Check engine light on.
The engine takes some seconds to start, not a battery or starter problem, fuel filter is new.
It's 22 degrees here so I think we can forget glow plugs.
And glow plugs light go out quickly like it is supposed to do.
It starts ALWAYS an the idle is 700 +/-100 rpm as written in "the egg program" http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/light_skin/wink2.gif
But during massive start attempt the engine for one time only it started at 300 rpm,
then sits at 300 rpm and keeps running at 300 rpm, then driver hit full throttle but
no answer, engine still at 300 rpm!
(Never seen before)
Again no Check engine light on (when will it light up, on Christmas onlyhttp://www.treddi.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/blink2.gif)
Is it a frequent problem in this "love you long time engine" or not?
Customer will send the car to Hyundai to receive a scan.
