I'm an high volume automotive locksmith with about 20 years of on the job training & been beta test all of AD's software for over 5 years before it's release for them. I do about 50-60 vehicles a week with my AD100 Pro so it see's the newest vehicles on the market but I'm lacking on EEPROM only flash Toys/Lex with a AR-32 for over 10 years but now got myself a Carprog & Tango trying to do some of these VW's AD can't do & here trying to learn from a few pro's I hope. And that brings up my 1st question, can the Carprog read & write in-circuit a 93C56 well on these older Toys/Lex? I tried a few times & never got a good reading, if anyone can answer that thanks

My AD100 is my go to programmer of all times but for VAG's it's not, the Smart Dongle is out & something is coming soon for that to make life easier but we'll have to see because I know on these newer VAG's it's in the cluster & nothing to date has change that, my buddy has a Abrites so I been taking out the cluster for him to do but if Carprog's VAG dash software works like they say I'll test it out for them too, trying to get a NEC beach rig now then a used cluster & Carprog said I can try a few softwares

You been tester and trainer and never do EPROM?

why do you wanta share info about videos of AD ?
this info should be private anyway.
Yeah have AD sorted out F*** up VAG dashes - latest i hear we get sued from dealer now

think we're touching a raw nerve here
they have known about this for couple of years now
if it's dangerous
remove it from the list till its fixed
or put a big warning sign
before use this gonna put you in the ~~~~ at a later date
but don't worry the new dongle will make it quicker for you to ~~~~ it up

These video are not AD's my personal training video I did for them & they don't own the rights to them, we have a good relationship, they come out with new software & I'll test it to make sure it's ready & I'll do a video of it

Not sure how your boast about being a "high volume automotive locksmith" will stand up against many people here.
You push buttons on a tester, I can train a monkey to do that.
If you want to lean, then read all you can, there is a lot to learn here.

Stop ! He willing to share,welcome board. USA market cars 90% are done via obd2 but with new generation of cloud programming we are all looking for a different way of doing thing. There guys in the USA that are willing to take the dash apart. That why I have been here sharing my knowledge with USA market cars. Chad is prefect example also a member her that learn how to do Ducati & Saab and is the go to guy in the USA. Learning as a team will produce positive result. All my posting that I have share real time solution are still there for other to learn and improve on it. Fallen good job on that Chrysler type 1 conversion table, your improve it and made it easy to understand. Forum was a little different back then as we all strive for knowledge.

Sorry, I just saw 2 different threads made within an hour, both pumping up the tires of the Advanced Diagnostics bus and assumed it was another dodgy marketing ploy to push AD products.
