and this the loader Digital Kaos - Downloads - Arnet Kryptview Loader (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/arnet-kryptview/31/arnet-kryptview-loader-426/)

i dont know if you doing it wrong m8,if you following hitecks excellent instructions i dont see why it wont work. i have done hundreds of these that way with no probs, so would say it may just be timing of the turn off and on. keep trying and see if you can do it if not post back and will try to work out where it gpoing wrong

cactikid
4th August, 2009, 04:55 PM

4th August, 2009, 04:56 PM

cactikid
4th August, 2009, 05:14 PM
correct files are here on site and when downloaded are in compressed state and will need extracting. 12072009 is latest

Does it say null modem on your cable, you might just have an ordinary rs232? Where did you get it from?

nottzlad21
5th August, 2009, 10:31 AM
i got it with my kryptview its got to female ends

Evastar
5th August, 2009, 10:37 AM
That doesn't necessarily make it the right cable, they have been known to send the wrong cables out with boxes before, an ordinary rs232 won't work.
Check and see what's written on it, does it say null modem anywhere? What happens when you try to download to the box does it recognise that anything is plugged in?

And have you extracted your bin file? You need to use win rar for that.

nottzlad21
5th August, 2009, 10:44 AM
yeah i extracted it it dont say null modem cable all it says its downloading not reqested

nottzlad21
5th August, 2009, 10:45 AM

ok answer these questions please

1 did you download the file from here?
2 Did you unzip it?
3 what makes you think you have a null modem cable?

nottzlad21
5th August, 2009, 12:46 PM
yeah i did all of them and it said null modem cable when i bought my kryptview box

Dreamer
5th August, 2009, 01:05 PM
ok then if your sure it is a null modem cable and not an rs232 the there is something wrong with the process. I was gonna suggest that you get someone with a volt meter/continuity tester to check the cable for you to make sure it is the correct one. have you been using hiteck's guide which was posted bye wilf in post number 6?
