I went out to a bmw 1 series f20 and like an idiot i read, saved and tried to change mileage under a m35080 option instead of would it should of been a m35160 (bloody eyesight is not what it used to be).
Now i've got no dials working and warning lights on, the 35160 file is double the size of the 35080 so i'm assuming when i saved it i've lost some of the dump.
Does anybody have a new shape 1 series dump so i can try and compare please, or if somebody wants to take a look at the attached dump and see if they know where the issue is.
Car is a diesel automatic
Cheers!

Tried a few dumps, none worked and now the cluster is dead, no lights nothing! I did try to erase the chip on the board using 5v so i'm thinking that may be the cause. Time to find a used cluster :banghead:

try write the dump another piece m35160But i think even with no eeprom inside the speedo it should power up when plugged in the car?
I can read the mileage and full dump from the eeprom which is why i'm thinking the eeprom is ok and its the cluster that is fried.

I changed cluster on F30 simply by rewriting eeprom from one to another, so I think it is possible to find similar software dump. I think problem is that there are some kinds of dashboard on this model with different schematics, but all have 35160 on board.
