Hi guys. I have a problem with this Mazda. I read the file, but when i try to program it, it says verify error. I never had a problem like this before. I tried read it off-board also, and still program error. I read and people say that the driver goes bad and has a hole. I checked and everything looks good. So can it still be a driver error? I didn't find any real solution from forum yet. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Im not sure what you mean. I dont have that option. I read it as 95640, and program. Always worked before this.

Also, i tried pressing the 40064 driver to see if it has a hole, but I didnt find anything. But im not sure how hard I had to press on it. Any one tried this before?

1. what programmer you using?
2. did you check wires, all connected good?
3. did you try a different SOIC to read with programmer to see if SOIC or connection.

Connection and wires are good because I can read it correctly, only when I program, it gives me error. There are a few people who had the same problem, but they actually had a hole in the driver. Mine doesnt have a hole..

You need to unsolder 95640. It is perfectly written and read separately from the ECU SRS. The driver doesn't influence record at all.

I unsoldered 1 pin of the chip and then tried to program. I made sure the pin doesn't touch the board underneath. I have always done this instead of fully removing the eeprom, and it always worked.

Interesting...So you think that this can be the problem, because of write protection? I've done a few same mazdas and never had this problem. And I've used the 1pin method for a lot of cars and I've never had a problem before.
