Hello,

When i use the ori file the car start again.
Whats wrong with the file ? Bad CHKS or anything ?

The checksum is calculated by the software that you're using or by the machine you're using to write? In my opinion you should let the machine calculate the Checksum. Let us know if it works or not.

I don't write the MOD by myself! It's from a fileservice. So i don't calculate the checksums..

But you flasher should be able to correct the checksum before writeing it back to the ecu. But depends wich tool you use

I once had a similar issue with a edc17 on a bmw 1 series,
I used FGTECH v54 euro, and wouldnt work with any mod, just orig,
I Read k tag, problem solved,
think FGTECH chksum problem

Surely he's not using a clone on an M4 lol

Hell no! :chuncky:

I buy my files from a seller who make MOD's since 20 years and flash the ECU with the slave version from CMD flashtec. But if the file has problems like this, i don't know if i buy more files at him in the future... The read & write process gone 100 % so it can't be anything else as wrong checksums or whatever or not ?

It can be checksum problem! Do you've another machine other than cmd? Like suggested above see if you've a friend with ktag or kess to see if works.

If you are using slave device, that is mean your file is encrypted.
What are you expect by posting this file? No one of us can help you.
I think you must ask your supplier what is wrong!

I had same issue with such a car.
It is caused by new software in the car (last dealer update).
I think it has something to do with antithief protection. I did same car with old software by OBD but after dealer update I had to do tricore boot.
You have to do it by boot then it will be OK.
