Hi guys,
I was asked to do a cluster upgrade in a Golf 5, and the current cluster is:
1K0 920 864 B VN4 Visteon
SW 3905
HW 010
Can I easily extract all needed immo data from eeprom? If so using which tool?
Or do I need special tools to unlock it using OBD ?
(Vagtacho doesn't support this cluster it seems...)

All data are in eeprom(strong encrypted), access via obd2 dont need any preparation. Read memory and post here.

I think smok immo tool can do this.

I looked at Codecard Visteon tools.
They seem OK, and show CS and PIN, but no MAC data and no powerclass info.
So how to convert to NEC ?
When I get access to the cluster I will read eeprom and post here. Unfortunately customer is 150 km away :-/

What is your currently dash and what exact do you want to do????

The current dash (Visteon) you can see in my initial posting.
I need to extract all immo data (CS,PIN,MAC,powerclass) so that I can put it in a NEC color cluster.
At the moment I don't have any tool that supports Visteon 95320.
So I am looking to see what tools support Visteon, or perhaps one of the board members can extract the immo data from eeprom (not flash) dump, if that is possible at all.

Ok
its little bit complicated
you have to prepare dash dump from ecu dump by little sofware from codecard and write
it back via obd online
than you have to make new keys also
its hard job
carprog (not clone) and avdi can do this

You want be able transfer this data to NEC without adaptation as Visteon dont use ECU MAC, it has only one MAC(immo) stored. Powerclass is simple to determine(contact me on PM).

I can write IMMO data to NEC clusters, and learn new keys.
I just need to know 2 things:
1) How to extract the available immo data from Visteon clusters. Can it be extracted from eeprom only?
2) How to convert Visteon immo data to NEC
Thanks for helping,

1) By OBD AVDI, MDC.... By Eeprom codecard
2) same way as VDO micronas
You can also use immo-data from ECU

Yes but how to deal with the missing data like MAC, powerclass etc.?
>You can also use immo-data from ECU
Yes I understand, but that's a whole new story for me :-/

Hi guys, did some reading and found these procedures from Ross-tech:
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Immobilizer_III_Immobilizer_Swapping_(Instrument_C luster)
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Immobilizer_IV_Immobilizer_Swapping_(Instrument_Cl uster)
I'm not sure if the engine ecu uses immo III or IV but the idea is the same; I just need both PIN's (from new and old cluster) and then I can adapt new cluster to match engine ecu immo data. This would mean that VIN, MAC etc. are transfered from engine ecu to new cluster.
Can these procedures be used with NEC color clusters?
(Can I use these procedures in my situation?)
Thanks,
H2Deetoo

Okay, understood.
I now know ECU is EDC16U34, which means I can extract immo data from the 95320 eeprom.
What is cheapest tool to read this eeprom using OBD ?
