I think better way is to list wich cant be used again.
1)Porsche need barcode
2)Volvo after 2000year need barcode
3)all Hitag2 integrated remote and transponders where is not possible match transponder again
4)A6/Q7 megamos 8E when key is locked(normal used state)
5)Peugeot/Citroen 2000- wich uses seperate transponder after change transponder to another transponder is impossible to match

yes but where is the calculator for this ? ;) Kind of like saying pcf7941 / 52 etc are reusable if you are going to send them to the US and pay for it.

I think the idea of the thread is to list remotes you can reuse yourself.

Just saying that solution exists though not for free. Yes it is kind of unlocking 7941 by the us guy. No standalone solution.
Better thing is that there's no need to send any hardware stuff just data over the net.
BTW unlocking 7941 service from US is a good way to make an astra H keys but for now i didn't try it. Did someone tried to refurbish these keys that way ?

I just wish china sold the astra h pcf programmed - I'd rather just buy/solder a chip rather than shipping the keys.

Shipping the whole key?! I was thinking about shipping only (say 100) desoldered pcf7941 in a small package once and then having them returned for using just as you say - soldering, adapting to car, all done.

no you will have to ship the remote board, unless they have a test socket etc but I would think they wouldn't want to mess around with test sockets.
