"engine FAN not stop after turn key on" - may not have the power to control unit (ecm), any problems with the wiring, at a minimum, check the connectors and fuses

Not possible, when you write appropriate file for dash, you must get all normal in diag and on dash except message SAFE. You are made somewhere mistake.

Can some one explain me why after I write 93c86 and verify and read good , but after I solder and desolder and read I get all FF FF FF FF ?!

Sounds like piece of solder on the board or bad EEPROM.

try filling EEPROM with 00 write read, then try 1111
try few times.

Had odd one or two that get 'stuck'

but I think is not the eeprom , I recived 10 new AT93c86 and after solder in dash I read and info make no sense !
but I think same thing is in short on the dash because wend I put dash on the car engine fun stars run and don"t stop !

best regards

This is from an A2, not an A3, but it's 93c86 and similar processor, maybe it helps? The connections to the processor all seem to be the same. :dontknow:

Looking at the pictures, there doesn't seem to be anything missing where you marked, those two pads have nothing on them in the other pic even though they are oriented differently. The resistor circled in my pic isn't in yours, that's what's missing. Should be a 5100 ohm resistor. Are you using hot air? You may have blown it off the board.

Clean all the solder off with wick and clean the board with alcohol to see it better, I would say the three are joined together. Make sure you're orienting the chip properly when resolder.

still not work :-(
I made one experience of try to see what vag eeprom programmer read widthout 93c86 in the place ,and it seems the same like I have 93c86 solder in the place !
And I can have diag :hmmmm2: widthout eeprom in place !! is this possible ?
should I write in 8 bits or 16bits ?
should I swap bites ?
should I encrypted the dump ?

I"m runing out of ideas

thank"s in advance

thank"s for imput
at the moment I take the pic , the resistor was out !
I take it to see if there was some problem width the track"s
by the way, what keep the info of the dash beside the 93c86 ?

thank"s in advance
