2010 reg, 1.4 petrol, problem is cooling fan running all the time, temp readings all fine, electric thermostat all fine, on the thermostat line it shares a wire with a sensor at rear of engine. It's to the left rear, very awkward to get to. If I unplug this sensor all is fine. Has anyone got a wiring diagram so I can identify what this sensor does, and even if I change will it cure problem, thanks

Very hard to get to m8 ,think inlet will av to come off to gain access. Just about got to plug from underneath vehicle, luckily they put a wire with a extension piece on it.

Just a update I replaced sensor at rear left of engine, had to take inlet off, it's right at rear of it. This as sorted problem. It's classed as a oil element, it warms the fumes as they leave top of engine . Thanks for all help
