XPROG 5.3 Device Silent SOLUTION?

Hi people,I have a problem with my xprog 5.3 with USB dongle.When I want to read a memory, I get an error message saying "Device silent".I wanted to know if I could fix it by re-programming the ATMEGA64 memory.If anyone has the info of an ATMEGA 5.3 working, could you please send it to me?Or is it that it can't be repaired?I've already checked the ports, tried with USB and COM port and the key is recognized.

335446had similar issue with 5.48. USB cable issue. Check the USB connection and load it on Win XP laptop, it should work.
