hi all i need help i have done a few km changes on 8 pin soic eeproms but now i have a ksr moto generic worx 125 dash i need to change km on i have attached a picture as i cannot see a 8 pin soic eeprom anywhere on either side of the board im still a bit newto this it could be under the lcd but im just wondering what the 5 pin socket is for labelled jp1? is this a programming port? thank you

What is written on top of chip U6?

i think it reads

BOC

U5 is:-

HT66F50

U7 is:-

HC244

Looks like the km is probably stored inside U5 (http://www.holtek.com.tw/pdf/uc/ht66fx0v220.pdf). I have no idea how to read it.

would this help? the jp1 connector 5 pins from left to right

pin1-HC244 pin1 (vcc?)
pin2-gnd
pin3-HT66F50 pin8 PB0/RES
pin4-?
pin5-HT66F50 pin1 PA0/C0X/TP0_0/AN0

im thinking it could be a icp port? but pin layout different

right im pretty sure its a icp port have confirmed the pins 1 to 5 as VCC,GND,RES,CLK,DATA any idea how i can read from it now?
