EDC17 cloning procedure

I want to clone a EDC17CP19 with TC1766 / BOSCH : 0281017977

With CMD/Flashtec : it has IROM1 / EEPROM1 / EEPROM2

I read out data from the original ECU which i want to transfer to a second/clone ECU.

By opening the backup file, CMD message :
"You are attempting to flash a Backup File. The file will be flashed as it is, no checksum will be corrected.
Do you want to continue ?"


Is this the correct procedure to clone a EDC17CP19 ecu or i need to do something extra...

Yes because Original file have good checksumme so just writh, before you writh make backup from new ec just to be shure

not sure for clone it with this procedure, for clone tricore is change immo data from old to new ecu, otp must skiped not be able to rewrite it ...
