BMW E90 Airbag Fault 93AB

Hi

I have a E90 in with a 93AB ( Front Passenger airbag) Fault code that won't clear.. Usually when you clear the fault the light goes out and come back on a few seconds later but this on stays straight away... i have checked the wiring to the airbag and also tried linking it with a 2.1 ohm resister but still flags fault code...

Can someone disable this fault code... I tried my Bmw Scanner but I only have 1.4 which doesn't do these..

Put a resistor on the passenger airbag in the seat and try clear.

if unplug the the seat i get the side airbag, occupancy sensor and seat belt faults come up but if i unplug passenger airbag i only get the second stage code as an extra code...

oh ok..hm...I think this module been crashed one too many times...might need new one

lol... i have just put the eeprom back in to go try the side airbag...

Hi Liam..

I had to replace the airbag module..

Have you tried putting a 2.1ohm resistor in instead of the airbag to ensure fault is not side airbag..??
