i have a
2004 BMW 645CI, with two Fault codes, that i can not figure out.. what they mean.. was hopeing someone could shed some light .. if they could be so kind, to let me know what the two DTC's mean..

1. 9424 No message (via serial cable) from satellite, vehicle center??????????????????????????

2. 9425 Serial cable to satellite, vehicle center??????????????????????????????

Satellite mean air bag which is not main then satellite, vehicle center is position where is located, very simply.

these BMW's have a Center Airbag??

i was under the impression that Satellite means: Impact Sensor.

The Moon is Earth's satellite, you can call him and Earth's sensor, but he is still satellite.

satellite sensors are usually impact sensor, but then again is your problem airbag related

So far its electrical and its a impact sensor...being its a front collision then I would check the crash sensor in the front...find out if anyone change the door or the post got hit... I am not sure how accurate is the scanning you are using but do a live data view and see if you can pinpoint which crash sensor it is.
