The vehicle came in midweek running rough and very noisy ,
First of all I noticed that the engine was running with very little engine oil so I sorted that problem by topping the oil up
When I started the engine I scanned the vehicle and got - Misfire on cyl 1
I have changed the spark plug
swapped the coil pack with a known working one
swapped the injecter
Removed the inlet manifold and cleaned out - It still sounds noisy and when I start the engine I still get misfire on no1
Any comments would be grateful
thanks

Do a compression check, these eat valves for fun.

Today I got one Z12XEP Corsa.
It was constantly misfiring on Cyl 3.
It was the valve.
Very bad quality engines.

As said compression check is best place to start. These engines give lots of timing chain trouble so have a look at timing especially if low on oil.

Thanks for the replies so far
When I took the plugs out number 1 was a different colour to 2,3, and 4 but it was a new plug
I did a compression test - 1 = 170 2 = 190 3 = 190 4 = 200
When vehicle came in it was very low on oil wich made it very tappety obviously -Icant see any obvios reason for the loss as it is regulary serviced
thanks

I've had all the usual including a cracked valve spring that was causing a misfire on random cylinders. The spark would disappear from random plugs as well - go figure. New spring sorted it.

All XEP engines are crap.
With LPG in it, it burns valve seats often.
On engines with chain, it rattles often on about 100k km
