I have a remote for a Citroen dispatch the remote was knacked & battery dead

fix the remote buttons & changed the battery / tested the remote & sends a good signal
but will not work with the van but is the original remote for the van starts ok but no remote function

tried all the the info on the net......

DISPATCH
Procedure


1. Turn Ignition ON, and wait for LED to go out.(If fitted)
2. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button with 20 seconds.
3. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK on other remotes within 10 seconds.
4. LED should light for 1 second.
5. Check remotes for operation.


Any info would be grateful whether it can be done this way or is it diagnostics

Have you tried to program the key and remote with the pin code yet?


They are not paired like later Citroen remotes but are programmed as 2 parts in the programming process.

DUMB QUESTION:-?

is this infra red or radio?

1) if I/r remove dome from infertile light wipe insude wuth your t shirt.
2) laugh at any corrision
3) TRY googling xantia remote desynchronise i~~~~ fail

4) if radio unit drivers side knee, no start if unplugged I think

They are 433Mhz radio signal.
