E36 Start Issues

Hallo DK members please help with this one i have somebody with e36 2000 not starting i have done the trick with the two big wires from the ews i cut the 2 and schunt them the car cranck but no strat i saw that there is a motorola 46J in the ews can i read it with xprog ? wich adapter or on circuit ? can i use the ews 3 adapter to read it ? please help thnax to all
